When Scott Schmidt founded Looking Glass Hospitality, he was already a restaurant industry veteran having served in executive roles for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, Ruth’s Hospitality Group, and Tavern Restaurant Group. While at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, Scott met Chef Will Wadsworth, and the two began a solid partnership and lifelong friendship built on shared focus, commitment, and work ethic.

Both Scott and Will are operators at heart but they’re also great at sharing their know-how with others. In that, they’re a bit of an anomaly: consultants who are also extremely good at setting up and running successful restaurants. The fact is, Scott and Will love helping startup owners create new concepts and navigate hurdles, evaluating struggling businesses, and assisting owners of existing restaurants take the best next steps.
