Scott Schmidt founded Looking Glass Hospitality in 2016 with the goal of building a unique collection of independent restaurant concepts and creating opportunities for high-performing hospitality professionals. In 2018, Will Wadsworth joined the team as an Operating Partner and Vice President of Culinary. Scott and Will met while working at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, and the two began a solid partnership and lifelong friendship built on shared focus, commitment, and work ethic.

With Looking Glass restaurants, Scott and Will consciously moved away from the overly scripted service model so often seen today and set out to create customized hospitality-centric environments that put the guest’s desires and needs front and center.

We like to say that every Looking Glass restaurant offers great food and beverage, and genuine hospitality, in a clean and safe environment. It’s a simple statement to be sure, but it’s what we live by to ensure that every experience we deliver is consistently enjoyable.

Today, Looking Glass Hospitality has six unique concepts in its portfolio and operates eight restaurants in the Greater Cincinnati area. The Looking Glass team has expanded to include more like-minded hospitality professionals who are passionate about taking care of people and creating memorable experiences.
